Course Overview

This course bridges the gap between basic reading and deep comprehension. You'll learn the most common grammatical structures in the Qur'an, build a strong vocabulary, and practice parsing verses.

  • Recognize noun, verb, and particle patterns
  • Understand sentence structure (jumlah ismiyya & fi'liyya)
  • Master the 10 most common verb forms
  • Parse entire verses grammatically
  • Read and translate simple Quranic passages

Curriculum

Module 1: Foundations

Arabic alphabet review, nouns & verbs overview, pronouns.

Module 2: Nouns (Ism)

Definiteness, gender, number, case endings (i'rab).

Module 3: Verbs (Fi'l)

Perfect, imperfect, imperative; active & passive; verb forms I–X.

Module 4: Particles

Prepositions, conjunctions, interrogatives – their effect on grammar.

Module 5: Sentence Analysis

Practical parsing of Surahs Al-Fatiha, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Asr, and more.
